Cider Making Workshop

Join our cider making workshops to learn how to make cider from Hale & True owner and cider maker, Kerry McKenzie. This one-night, three-hour workshop is perfect for cider fans who want to learn more about the drink they love and those who want to get started cider making at home. The class is focused on learning how to make consistent, delicious cider and creating a solid foundation of cider making knowledge. We will also be tasting a variety of ciders!
In these workshops you will learn about the history of cider, cider styles, and apple varieties, learn step-by-step how to make high-quality cider at home, start your own batch of cider with fresh-pressed, local PA apple juice, and enjoy a guided tasting of different cider styles.

Reuby True Cider Release & Chef Reuben Pop-Up

Basement Series #51: Reuby True is back to kick off our anniversary weekend! This vibrant small batch cider made with red dragon fruit and Asian pear is made in collaboration with Chef Reuben. Naturally, Chef Reuben will be popping up as well, serving his delicious food bridging Mexican cuisine with Asian flavors.
Anniversary Cider Release & Ulupica Pop-Up

A very special cider is in the works for release for our anniversary and will be available to enjoy at the taproom and to-go. We’ll announce it the week prior. Plus, Ulupica will be serving Bolivian food at the taproom starting at 2:00.
